Humans have compared themselves to animals for thousands of years. Totems, zodiac signs, Aesop's fables — in every culture animals served as shorthand for character: the fox is cunning, the owl wise, the lion brave. It works because an animal archetype packs a whole set of traits into a single image we understand instantly.
The Barnum effect, or why your result "fits"
Psychology knows a phenomenon that makes quiz descriptions feel accurate: the Barnum effect. General, positively worded statements ("you have inner strength, though you don't always show it") strike us as surprisingly precise — because they fit almost everyone. That doesn't make the game a "scam". It just means a quiz result describes you about as precisely as a horoscope — and that is exactly how it should be treated.
