Medical and Psychological Disclaimer

All tests on this platform are intended solely for educational and entertainment purposes. They do not constitute a clinical, psychiatric, or medical diagnosis and are not a substitute for consultation with a qualified specialist. Results should not be used to make medical, professional, or life decisions.

1. Purpose of the Service

PsychoProfil.pl is an educational platform offering psychometric tests based on scientific instruments in the public domain. The purpose of the Service is to:

  • Promote knowledge of personality psychology, intelligence, and well-being
  • Provide reliable tools for self-exploration
  • Deliver educational information about psychological constructs

The Service is not a psychological counselling centre, psychiatric practice, or medical facility.

2. What Our Tests Are NOT

  • Not a clinical diagnosis β€” a psychological or psychiatric diagnosis can only be made by a qualified specialist (clinical psychologist, psychiatrist) based on a clinical interview, behavioural observation, and standardised diagnostic instruments.
  • Not a screening tool β€” even tests based on clinical instruments (e.g. GAD-7) are not a substitute for seeing a specialist. An elevated score does not mean you have a disorder. A low score does not rule one out.
  • Not medical advice β€” no test result on this platform should be treated as a medical, pharmacological, or therapeutic recommendation.
  • Not a basis for self-treatment β€” do not make changes to your treatment (e.g. stopping medication) based on online test results.
  • Not a medical device β€” the platform is not registered as a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) and is not subject to medical device authority oversight.

3. Limitations of Online Tests

Tests taken online have significant limitations compared to professional psychological assessment:

  • No clinical context β€” a specialist takes into account medical history, behavioural observation, and other factors that an online test cannot assess.
  • Self-report limitations β€” responses may be distorted by momentary mood, fatigue, social desirability bias, or limited self-insight.
  • No population normalisation β€” results are interpreted using general statistical norms that may not account for your specific age group, cultural background, or profession.
  • Results are approximations β€” every result carries a margin of error (Standard Error of Measurement). Small differences in scores may have no practical significance.

4. IQ Test β€” Special Note

The "IQ" score presented on this platform is an indicative estimate, not the result of a standardised intelligence test. A professional IQ assessment requires:

  • A session with a qualified psychologist
  • A standardised instrument (e.g. WAIS-IV, Raven APM)
  • Controlled testing conditions
  • Normalisation on an appropriate population

Our test measures cognitive abilities in an online setting and provides a score comparable to professional tests, but it does not replace a professional assessment.

5. Mental Health Tests (GAD-7, Burnout)

Tests relating to anxiety, burnout, and other aspects of mental health are for informational purposes only:

  • An elevated score does not mean a disorder has been diagnosed
  • A low score does not rule out mental health difficulties
  • If you have concerning symptoms β€” please consult a specialist
