## What is resilience?

Resilience is the ability to cope with adversity and return to good functioning. It's not absence of suffering, but psychological flexibility.

## Factors

Social support, optimism, sense of control, emotion regulation. It can be developed.

## How is it measured?

**CD-RISC** and **Brief Resilience Scale (BRS)**.
