What is Type A?

Friedman and Rosenman (1950s): ambition, time urgency, competitiveness, impatience. Type B is the opposite.

Why does it matter?

Originally linked to heart disease; hostility is the key component. Associated with burnout.

How is it measured?

Jenkins Activity Survey (JAS) and Framingham Type A Scale.
