Personality is a set of enduring traits shaping typical ways of thinking, feeling and behaving. Major models: psychodynamic, humanistic, trait-based (Big Five).

Major models

The Big Five has the strongest empirical support. Others: MBTI, DISC, HEXACO.

How is it measured?

Questionnaires (NEO-PI-R, BFI, 16PF), projective tests and observational methods.
