What is extraversion?
Extraversion is a Big Five dimension describing the level of energy drawn from social interactions. Extraverts are sociable, talkative and sensation-seeking. Introverts prefer quieter settings.
Why does it matter?
Extraversion correlates with positive emotions and life satisfaction. It is relevant in career contexts โ DISC and MBTI partly build on this dimension.
