## What is the Big Five?

The Big Five (OCEAN) is the most widely accepted personality model. It describes personality through five dimensions: **Openness** (O), **Conscientiousness** (C), **Extraversion** (E), **Agreeableness** (A) and **Neuroticism** (N).

## Why is it important?

The Big Five has the strongest empirical support. It predicts job performance, relationship quality and mental health.

## How is it measured?

**NEO-PI-R** (240 items), **BFI** (44 items) and **TIPI** (10 items).
