What is the Big Five?
The Big Five (OCEAN) is the most widely accepted personality model. It describes personality through five dimensions: Openness (O), Conscientiousness (C), Extraversion (E), Agreeableness (A) and Neuroticism (N).
Why is it important?
The Big Five has the strongest empirical support. It predicts job performance, relationship quality and mental health.
How is it measured?
NEO-PI-R (240 items), BFI (44 items) and TIPI (10 items).
